Sacomni 100 Uses: What Sacubitril and Valsartan Do

Doctors prescribe Sacomni 100 for adults with chronic heart failure, most often the form described as heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. In this condition the left side of the heart has become weak and empties less blood with each beat, so fluid backs up and the body receives less circulation than it needs.

Used as part of a full treatment plan, Sacubitril and Valsartan may help reduce the strain that hormones place on a failing heart and may lower the risk of worsening heart failure that leads to hospital admission. Because valsartan relaxes blood vessels, the combination also brings blood pressure down, which is one reason readings are checked at every visit.
