The Basic Storage Rule for Bisomni 5
The pack instruction is clear. Bisomni 5 Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets IP should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place below 25 degrees Celsius. The product should be protected from light, heat and moisture, and must be kept out of reach of children.
In practice that means an inner cupboard or a drawer in the coolest room of the house, away from windows and away from anything that gives off heat. A closed steel or plastic box inside that cupboard adds a useful second layer against dust and damp.
Do not refrigerate the tablets unless a doctor or pharmacist has told you to. Taking a strip in and out of the fridge causes condensation on the foil, which is exactly the moisture you are trying to avoid.
Heat and Monsoon Humidity: The Indian Problem
For much of the year large parts of India sit above 25 degrees Celsius, and during the monsoon the air stays heavy with moisture for weeks. Both shorten the useful life of a tablet, and humidity in particular can affect a film-coated tablet if the blister seal is broken.

Do not decant tablets into an unlabelled bottle with other medicines. Mixed loose tablets are a common cause of the wrong tablet being taken, especially in households where several people are on treatment. If a pill organiser is necessary, fill it for a few days at a time, keep it closed and keep it dry.
Travelling With Bisomni 5
Carry enough for the whole trip plus a few spare days, because a chemist in an unfamiliar town cannot dispense a Schedule H medicine without a valid prescription.
Keep the medicine in hand luggage rather than checked baggage on flights, both because the hold is cold and because bags go astray. On road journeys keep the pack in the cabin with you, not in the boot or on the dashboard.

Many hospitals and larger pharmacies accept expired medicines for correct disposal, which is the best route. If none is available near you, remove the tablets from the foil, mix them with something unappealing such as used tea leaves, seal the mixture in a bag before discarding it, and tear off any label carrying your name.
Keeping Bisomni 5 Away From Children
A heart medicine that slows the pulse is dangerous for a child who swallows it out of curiosity. Store the pack high, out of sight as well as out of reach, and never leave a strip on a bedside table, in a handbag left on the floor or on the dining table.
Tell everyone in the household which cupboard the medicines live in, so an elderly relative does not keep a spare strip in a pocket. If a child swallows any tablet, take the child and the pack to the nearest hospital immediately rather than waiting for symptoms.
